Adastra enters Austrian market with new office in Vienna

Adastra, a global IT consultancy and services provider with around 2,000 people, has entered the Austrian market with a new office in capital city Vienna.

The new office becomes the firm’s seventh office in the DACH region, alongside Frankfurt, Wolfsburg, Munich, Darmstadt, Hannover, and Magdeburg (all in Germany).

“Opening our Vienna office marks a pivotal step in Adastra’s regional growth strategy,” said Marius Maslo, CEO of Adastra in Slovakia and Chief Revenue Officer for DACH. “It allows us to be closer to our long-term Austrian clients, work more directly with our regional technology partners, and accelerate our mission to deliver high-impact data and AI solutions across the DACH and CEE regions. Austria plays a key role in this journey.”

Adastra’s new office will serve as a local hub for engaging with key clients across industries such as financial services, retail, telecommunications, energy, e-commerce, and manufacturing. Clients on the firm’s roster in Austria include Erste Group, Raiffeisen Bank, Vienna Insurance Group, UNIQA, and Austrian Post International.

Adastra’s presence in Vienna also enables closer collaboration with key technology partners such as Microsoft, Google, and AWS, as well as Bloomreach and Ataccama, all of whom have a strong footprint in the Austrian market. Leveraging these partnerships, the Vienna-based team will support the delivery of end-to-end solutions in AI, cloud, data governance, and analytics, helping clients improve operations, data, and decisions-making.

Leading the new hub is Robert Bruckbauer, who has been appointed Account Management Director for Austria. “With our feet on the ground in Vienna, we can now provide more agile and personalized support to our clients in Austria. This move isn’t just symbolic. It reflects our commitment to helping local businesses tackle their most pressing data and technology challenges, backed by global expertise and a strong local presence,” he said.

Globally, Adastra has more than 2,000 employees in Europe, North America, and Asia. The company is headquartered in Prague and Toronto.

Other global consulting firms with an office in Vienna include McKinsey & Company, Boston Consulting Group, Bain & Company, the Big Four firms, Oliver Wyman and Cylad.
