The world’s largest life sciences supply chain event, LogiPharma, will take place next month in Austria. At the conference, AIM will contribute to the exchange of knowledge and discussions.
Now in its 26th year, LogiPharma is the world’s largest event for supply chain leaders operating in the life sciences sector. Leaders from companies such as Pfizer, Sanofi, Moderna, Novartis, Gilead, Johnson & Johnson, Bristol Myers Squibb, AstraZeneca and Novo Nordisk will take the stage at LogiPharma to share their insights on the latest trends and developments in the industry and supply chain domain.
Major topics that will dominate the agenda include supply chain disruption stemming from geopolitical tensions, cost volatility, the impact of tariffs, climate pressures, and the rise of personalised therapies. The programme will also explore the digitalisation of supply chains and the growing role of artificial intelligence.
Held in Vienna this year (last year’s edition took place in Lyon), the three-day event from 14-16 April will offer attendees an action-packed agenda featuring keynotes, plenary sessions, specialised functional tracks, masterclasses and panel discussions. The exhibition area will further facilitate knowledge exchange and networking opportunities between pharmaceutical companies and service providers active in the industry.
Insights from AIM
AIM will participate in knowledge exchange and exhibit through its own booth in the exhibition area.
In a case study presentation hosted by AIM and Bavarian Nordic, experts from the two organisations will share best practices on how both new entrants and established biopharma companies can build agile, compliant and future-ready distribution networks for the launch of complex medicines, including therapies for rare diseases.
The presentation will be led by Corné van Raak (Principal at AIM) and Yves Meier (Senior 3PL Manager for DACH and ROW at Bavarian Nordic).
Peter Martens, also a Principal at the consulting firm, will meanwhile moderate the panel discussion titled ‘The New Product Introduction Supply Chain’. Featuring industry experts, the panel will explore how supply chains for new products should be set up and rolled out to facilitate a successful launch, while offering the agility needed to scale in the event of stronger-than-expected commercial demand.
Martens was selected as moderator due to his deep expertise in new product launches. Last year, he also co-authored a white paper on the topic.
