Andersen Consulting expands Italian footprint with new collaborating firms

Global consulting firm Andersen Consulting has expanded its footprint in Italy with two new collaborating firms.

Founded in 1996 and headquartered in Rome, Alfa Group is a technology firm specialized in cybersecurity solutions, including cyber strategy, fraud detection and prevention, incident response, and vulnerability management. The company also has an own end-to-end managed service platform for managing cyber threats on digital infrastructures.

“Alfa Group has established itself as a trusted technology advisor, particularly in the areas of cybersecurity and IT governance. Their expertise is highly synergistic with our capabilities, and this collaboration strengthens our ability to support organizations as they adapt to technological disruption and increasing regulatory demands,” said Mark Vorsatz, global chairman and CEO of Andersen (the parent of Andersen Consulting).

Re-launched at the start of 2025, Andersen Consulting is one of the world’s largest consulting groups. The firm, part of tax and legal network Andersen, has more than 4,000 professionals and a presence in over 65 countries.

The second collaborating firm to join Andersen Consulting is Internet & Idee, a digital consulting agency based in Cosenza (a city in south Italy). Founded in 1998, Internet & Idee delivers digital strategy, software development, testing, e-commerce, and mobile solutions to clients in banking, insurance, credit management, and luxury e-commerce.
