Argon & Co acquires German implementation specialist Algol Consulting
In its third German deal in three years, global operations consulting firm Argon & Co has acquired Algol Consulting, a 30-person firm specialised in process optimisation and implementation.
Founded in 2007 and headquartered in Cologne, Algol Consulting support clients ranging from medium-sized businesses to publicly listed German corporations with a focus on process management, IT implementation, project management, and governance in complex and highly regulated environments. The firm also supports large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
“This milestone marks an important step towards strengthening Argon & Co’s presence in the DACH region and expanding our ability to implement end-to-end transformations,” said Jean-François Laget, CEO of Argon & Co.
In 2025, Argon & Co acquired Advyce & Company, which added a team of over 100 consultants. One year before, the firm picked up PrexPartners, a procurement consultancy with a 20-person headcount. Both firm have since then been brought under the Argon & Co banner.
The addition of Algol Consulting beefs up Argon & Co’s implementation expertise, noted Burkhard Wagner, partner at Argon & Co. “Our teams combine a practical approach with in-depth expertise to build long-term partnerships and support transformations that create lasting added value,” explains Burkhard Wagner, Partner at Argon & Co for the DACH region.

Globally, Argon & Co has more than 850 consultants and staff, operating across 18 global offices.
