Boutique Swedish consultancy Ctrl Digital bought by multinational Havas
Ctrl Digital, a Swedish consultancy specialised in marketing and media analytics, has been acquired by Havas, a global advertising and public relations group.
Founded in 2018, Ctrl Digital is a consultancy firm with offerings in digital analytics, measurement, and data activation. The company helps organizations build data foundations and transform first‑party data into actionable insights across sales and marketing. The Stockholm-based firm has a team of around a dozen people – they work at the intersection of marketing, analytics, and technology.
The deal will see Ctrl Digital integrate into CSA, the data and analytics consultancy arm of Havas. The Ctrl Digital team will serve as the launching pad for the CSA brand in Sweden and the Nordic region (CSA has offices in around 20 countries).
“Ctrl Digital’s expertise in measurement, analytics, and data activation makes our offer in Sweden significantly stronger. Their specialist capabilities enhance our integrated model across media, creativity, data, and strategy, and reinforce our ambition to deliver clear business results for clients,” said Jenny Leeb, CEO of Havas in Sweden.
Yannick Bolloré, Chairman and CEO of Havas, added: “We are thrilled to welcome the Ctrl Digital team to the Havas family. Their deep expertise further strengthens the global data‑powered solutions we deliver for our clients. This acquisition also advances our global strategy as we continue to expand our data, technology, and AI expertise to help clients achieve their objectives with greater precision.”
With around 23,000 employees, Havas is one of the world’s largest advertising, marketing, and communications groups. Headquartered in Paris, the company has a long track record of acquisitions, including consulting‑related buys such as Gate One in 2019 and more recently, Unnest in France, which was integrated into its CSA business.
