Emixa, a consulting firm with several offices across Western Europe, has appointed Jan Kritz as its Chief Executive Officer and Peter-Jan Simons as Chief Operating Officer.
The leadership transition sees former CEO Peter-Jan Simons move to an operations and internal-focused role, while Jan Kritz has been hired externally to lead the firm’s strategic direction. Kritz most recently was CEO of Nordcloud (an IBM Company) and previously served Capgemini in several leadership roles.
Headquartered in the Netherlands, Emixa is a 550-person consulting company with officers across the Benelux, DACH, UK & Ireland and Nordics regions. The consulting firm specializes in digital transformation projects in manufacturing and industrial environments, with deep expertise in management consulting, product lifecycle management, ERP, systems integration, low code, and data & analytics.
“I’m thrilled to take on this role because the ambition and opportunity at Emixa is awesome – a pan-European growth company with hundreds of passionate colleagues, deep vertical expertise, and a great technology stack. Our mission is crystal clear: we deliver genuine value for clients navigating complex transformation journeys succeeding together,” said Kritz.
According to a statement by Emixa, Kritz will lead the firm’s next growth chapter. Key pillars include scaling its services, strengthening regional collaboration between offices and teams, and continued expansion through a mix of organic growth and a strategic buy‑and‑build approach.
Formed in 2023, Emixa is backed by private equity investor Holland Capital.
Kritz: “I very much look forward to working with our teams to accelerate our strategy. I am especially impressed by the deep passion of our colleagues at Emixa and by their strong dedication to deliver value for our clients.”
Simons added: “We are delighted to welcome Jan Kritz as our CEO. His experience in scaling businesses and leading growing organisations makes him an excellent fit for this next stage of growth. I am excited to continue developing our organisation and to drive our transformation in my new role as Chief Operating Officer.”
