Future of Work Group takes majority stake in Milan-based GreatPixel
Future of Work Group, an Italian human capital-focused consulting group, has acquired a majority stake in GreatPixel, a brand engagement consultancy based in Milan.
Formed in 2023 through the merger of Radical HR (a HR consulting and learning & development provider) and Lacerba (a specialised learning & development firm), Future of Work Group currently generates revenues of around €4 million. The company advises clients on people strategy and culture, HR operating models, employee engagement, the setup of corporate universities, and the design and delivery of training programmes.
This year, Future of Work Group aims to grow its revenue to €4.8 million, with the acquisition of GreatPixel representing a significant step towards that goal.
The addition of GreatPixel enhances the group’s service portfolio in three key areas: people strategy, learning & development, and learning management systems. GreatPixel also brings a new set of capabilities around communication and branding, enriching Future of Work Group’s work in driving business narratives and people engagement during transformation processes.
“With Future of Work Group, we are not building a traditional consulting firm, but an ecosystem capable of integrating strategy, technology and communication to enable real and measurable transformation,” said Alessandro Rimassa, CEO and Founder of Future of Work Group. ‘We are delighted to welcome GreatPixel and their very strong team to the group.”
Commenting on the deal, Giovanni Pola, Founder and former CEO of GreatPixel, said: “This transaction represents a natural evolution for GreatPixel. The strategic perspective provided by joining Future of Work Group will ensure a stronger focus on the human dimension of communication, within a systemic approach that is unique in the market.”
Alberto Maestri, appointed as the new CEO of GreatPixel, added: “Transformation is not only organisational or technological: it is narrative, relational and cultural. Companies need alignment between who they are and how they communicate with internal and external stakeholders. Joining Future of Work Group means putting business narrative and content engagement at the core of change processes.”
The longer-term ambition
In the coming years, Future of Work Group aims to expand its footprint further. By 2030, the goal is to reach €25 million in revenue, to be achieved through a combination of organic growth and targeted acquisitions in Italy and internationally.
“We are working to build a major Italian group for corporate transformation, capable of competing on an international stage,” said Rimassa. “The foundations are solid, the vision is clear, and the market demands integrated capabilities. This is the right time to accelerate.”
