Oliver Wyman, a global strategy and management consulting firm, has appointed Suzanne van der Meijden and Jeffrey Hennen as co-Office Leaders of its Amsterdam office.

In their new roles, Suzanne and Jeffrey are responsible for safeguarding and strengthening the culture of the Amsterdam office, as well as running the day to day operations. They will work closely together with Coen de Vuijst, Managing Partner of the 100-person Dutch organisation.

For Suzanne, the appointment represents a full-circle moment: she began her career at Oliver Wyman eleven years ago as a junior and has progressed through the ranks, becoming a partner in 2025.

A member of the Performance Transformation practice, she leads complex operational initiatives that drive efficiency and growth for clients across the transportation sector. Suzanne has led large programs in industries such as aviation and logistics, focusing on redesigning operating models, developing leadership capabilities, and embedding performance improvements within organisations.

“Suzanne brings a decade of experience with the firm and has shown a strong commitment to our client base. Her efforts have been instrumental in strengthening the community within the office and creating a vibrant and inclusive culture,” Oliver Wyman said in a LinkedIn post.

Jeffrey joined the consulting firm roughly five years ago and currently leads the Actuarial Services practice across Amsterdam and Brussels. He is a member of the European leadership team of the Actuarial Services practice. He too was promoted to partner last year.

In his client work, Jeffrey advises insurers on complex risk, capital, and actuarial challenges across the region. He specializes in market and credit risk, underwriting risk (life, health, and non-life), actuarial cash-flow modelling, regulatory reporting, climate risk, and merger & acquisition support.

“Jeffrey joined the firm as an experienced hire and has played a key role in establishing and expanding our Actuarial team in the Benelux region,” stated Oliver Wyman in the same post.

The dual office leaders succeed Cornelia Neumann, who held the role for three years and, in line with Oliver Wyman’s leadership rotation policy, returns to a more client-facing position.
