Global consulting firm Simon-Kucher has appointed David Wilhelm as a partner in its Healthcare & Life Sciences division.
A partner in the Zurich office, Wilhelm advises clients in the life sciences sector at the intersection of strategy, technology, and execution. He supports clients in defining digital and AI strategies, prioritizing high-value use cases, redesigning operating models and processes, and building scalable digital and AI-powered products.
With more than 15 years of experience in digital consulting, Wilhelm has deep expertise in AI-driven product development and the adoption of (Gen)AI in the commercial environment. He has led the development of AI-powered assistants for marketing, sales, and customer service functions and supported organizations transitioning to software and platform-based models.
He also advises clients on building innovation capabilities, establishing enterprise-wide data strategies, and advancing digital health platforms.

Prior to joining Simon-Kucher, Wilhelm spent nearly nine years at BCG X, where he focused on building and scaling digital and AI businesses across the European life sciences sector. He also held commercial leadership roles in venture capital-backed digital scale-ups, where he focused on bringing innovative technology solutions to market.
