Global commercial strategy consultancy Simon-Kucher has appointed two new partners in its DACH team: Fabian Klöble and Žiga Lešnik.
Fabian Klöble has been named a partner in the Consumer practice. He is an expert in commercial excellence and revenue growth management projects for FMCG (fast-moving consumer goods) companies. His clients include manufacturers from all sectors – from food and beverages to near-food products – in DACH and across Europe.
The appointment is a full-circle move for Munich-based Klöble – he joined the consulting firm a decade ago in a junior role and has risen the ranks to now join the partnership. Asked about his tenure at Simon-Kucher, he says: “This is just the beginning. The further development of our commercial excellence services for FMCG manufacturers offers immense potential for our customers – and I intend to fully utilise it.”
That demand comes on the back of a mix of trends affecting FMCG players and their top-line growth, from rising costs, changing shopper behaviour, the private label trend, and supply chain challenges. “FMCG companies who don’t continuously manage revenue growth management issues will lose leverage with retailers and end customers,” asserts Klöble.
Žiga Lešnik, meanwhile, has been appointed a partner in the Telecom practice. Based in Vienna, his work spans across the entire telecommunications value chain with a particular focus on B2B where he advises on growth initiatives covering market entry and positioning, packaging, pricing, customer value management, sales excellence and go-to-market strategy.
Clients he has worked for include SatCom, CPaaS and UCaaS players. He too operates in an industry facing significant disruption: “Non-terrestrial networks, competition, and the convergence of connectivity and security present the telecommunications industry with immense challenges. Those who fail to make the transition from telco to ‘tech company’ will be left behind.”
Leveraging his experience across DACH and Central and Eastern Europe, Lešnik will focus on expanding Simon-Kucher’s presence in the region. “I look forward to leading existing clients as well as new telecom companies into the future together with the team.”
Founded in 1976, Simon-Kucher is a global management consultancy with more than 2,000 employees in over 30 countries. Over the past weeks, the firm has welcomed a string of new partners across different offices.
