Simon-Kucher enters 2026 with record revenues and headcount
Global consulting firm Simon-Kucher has entered 2026 on a high note, with revenues reaching €606 million and headcount up to 2,200 employees.
Founded 41 years ago in Germany, Simon-Kucher is one of the world’s leading management consultancies with specialization in commercial strategy, growth, sales & marketing, and pricing.
In its 2025 financial year (which follows the calendar year), Simon-Kucher achieved total revenue growth of 6%, despite a relatively slow consulting environment. The performance continues a sustained growth streak, following 6% growth the previous year, and more than doubling revenues compared with a decade ago.
“In an increasingly demanding environment, we help our clients achieve commercial success,” said Gunnar Clausen, co-CEO of Simon-Kucher. “They value the combination of our continuously evolving commercial expertise and deep digital capabilities.”
Services in demand
From a services perspective, growth was led by robust client demand for Simon-Kucher’s commercial growth expertise. Corporates and scale-ups sought the firm’s support in pricing, monetization, revenue management, sales, go-to-market execution, and digitalisation.
Simon-Kucher also works with investors, supporting them across the deal lifecycle with commercial due diligence, value creation, and growth acceleration services.
The firm’s suite of digital and software-enabled commercial solutions, packaged under the Engine brand, also contributed to the growth performance.
Other highlights of 2025 include the opening of a new office in Bangalore in India, the firm’s 45th office worldwide. A recruitment campaign increased the company’s headcount from 2,100 to nearly 2,200, with employees now based in 32 countries and serving clients in over 50 markets.
The firm’s leadership team also expanded, with 28 new partners joining effective 1 January 2026, bringing the total partnership size to 227.
Looking ahead
As Simon-Kucher charts its course for 2026, co-CEO Joerg Kruetten emphasised the firm’s focus on scaling its commercial growth expertise while maintaining a sharp focus on client impact.
“Our priority is to convert capability into scalable impact,” Kruetten said. “With a strong foundation as a trusted commercial advisor, we are well positioned to help clients unlock their next wave of sustainable growth.”
