OC&C Strategy Consultants promotes Dominik Rohrbeck to partner in German team
OC&C Strategy Consultants has promoted Dominik Rohrbeck to partner in its Düsseldorf office.
The promotion marks a full-circle moment for Dominik Rohrbeck – he began his career with the award-winning global strategy consulting firm in 2015 directly from university and has since risen through the ranks.
Over this time, Rohrbeck has built deep expertise across the retail sector, advising clients across a range of sub-sectors including do-it-yourself, fashion, discount, -commerce generalists, drugstores, and specialist retailers. He works with German and international retail clients to develop commercial strategies and translate them into successful execution.
A core focus of Rohrbeck’s work is helping clients strengthen their value proposition across key levers such as assortment, supply chain, and sales. In addition, he has a strong track record in identifying and scaling new profit pools, with particular expertise in retail media as an increasingly critical growth driver.
Commenting on his promotion, Rohrbeck said: “From my first experience with OC&C Strategy Consultants, I was drawn to the firm’s strong sector focus, intellectual rigour and the collaborative way of working in teams and with clients. I am grateful for the opportunity to have developed my career here.”
“Retail remains one of the most dynamic sectors, with constant change creating both challenges and opportunities. I look forward to continuing to work closely with our clients to define and deliver winning strategies in this environment.”
Will Hayllar, Global Managing Partner at OC&C Strategy Consultants, said: “Dominik’s promotion reflects the strength of his client impact and his deep expertise in retail. He combines strong strategic thinking with a highly practical approach to deliver tangible and enduring results for clients. His election to the partnership is also a great example of our focus on developing outstanding people, and we are delighted to welcome him to the partnership.”
OC&C’s German business has grown strongly in recent years, further accelerated by an acquisition in 2024. Today, the local team comprises more than 60 consultants and around 15 partners.
